Product Description

Standing Travertine Cross- Unfilled, on Thunder Bay Amethyst
12 x 5.5 inches. This standing stone cross made from unfilled travertine has a designer look. It has been carved into the Thunder Bay Amethyst stone, which has been set at an angle. We purchased this stone on a trip to the North Shore of Lake Superior. . The stone is not only beautiful with the amethyst, but there are white crystals also and richly colored rock which accents the cross. In the picture, the white is super bright when in reality it is more subtle and balanced. Also the picture does not capture the real beauty of the different sections of amethyst, which are gorgeous. Each section has a different color, lavender. reddish, darker purple. We are not photography experts and anytime white is in a cross it is tough to get the right colors. You won't be disappointed. The rock has not been color enhanced, only the travertine has been in order to intensify the color of the cut edges.

Be sure to check out our large selection of wall crosses, free standing tabletop crosses, Celtic crosses, oversized crosses and memorial crosses. We have recently added wall cross plaques as well. Our three crosses Calvary scenes are very popular, whether used with Lake Superior stones or on a wall cross plaque.
